A heart of compassion
I took a moment to lay it all down at the feet of Jesus and ask Him to give me a heart of compassion for this man and continue to trust that God is moving in his life.

The details
This post is very long and emotional.
We haven’t said much about Aspen’s accident. We have learned a lot over the last 5 weeks but wanted to wait until we had all of the official information.

Learning to live
It’s been 4 weeks since we woke up to DPS knocking on our door and giving us the news ever parent fears.

Separation
God has a plan in this pain, a plan to draw others closer to Him. To use Aspen’s story to bring people to Christ and save them from a forever separation from Him.

Praise Him in the storm
Whatever your storm looks like, remember that God is on the throne, and as we praise Him in the storm the enemy has no choice but to turn and flee.

His mercies are new
It’s ok to not be ok, God can handle our anger…even our anger towards Him. He gave us emotions for a reason. Our feelings don’t dictate our faith.

“Hope Will Arise From the Ashes”
So many emotions and words arose in my spirit as this piece landed on the canvas
Light came first and then this unique and beautiful bird stayed on my heart and I knew it was for Aspen

Jesus was glorified
Today was gut wrenching and amazingly beautiful all at the same time. Jesus was glorified and hearts were turned towards Him

Happy 19th Birthday
Happy Birthday sweet girl. 19 years wasn’t enough time here on earth and my soul will long for eternity with you

White as snow
Pure, healed and whole, washed white as snow. From her last breath here on earth to her next breath with Jesus. As I was going though photos from the short life we had with Aspen, this one just hit hard. She is forever with our King, worshipping un abandoned. Her story isn’t over.

I Choose to Worship
We are bent but not broken, struck down but not destroyed. Satan messed with the wrong family

The day our world stopped…
I can’t even find the words right now but our family needs your prayers. Our sweet Aspen was killed in a head on collision last night.
